What is an oral presentation? It can take many forms: speeches, talks and group discussions can all qualify. Oral presentations can also be components of more extensive projects: demonstrations, plays, multimedia presentations and debates. When using oral presentations for ASSESSMENT purposes, the important thing to start with is the development of standards. Depending on the child's age, these can best be developed with the aid of the student. In order to do this, follow these steps:
Name:_______________________________________ Date: ________________________________ Title of Presentation: ________________________________
/--------------------------/-------------------------/----------------------------/ No statement Unclear Unorganized: could be clearer Very clear
/--------------------------/-------------------------/----------------------------/ Unorganized Some organization Needs Work Well Organized
/-------------------------------/------------------------------/----------------------------/ Not interesting A few interesting bits Good, but dragged some Interesting! You might add...
