...to continue receiving product information, policy updates and coupons from Lampstand Press.
We in the eastern part of the country are sure tired of the polar vortex, but it can't hang on much longer! Spring will spring, and with it will come some important changes here at Lampstand Press. We have new information for you in this month's newsletter, so we encourage you to take some time to read through each section so that you will be well-informed.
One important fact for you to know is that we are changing our newsletter software. If you would like to continue receiving this newsletter, with information about coupons or sales, as well as special announcements, you'll need to sign up for our new mailing list. If you sign up within the next two weeks, you will be sent a valuable coupon! After the April edition, this newsletter will no longer be posted online, so be sure to sign up using this link.
Love the Journey is currently at the printer and we expect it to arrive in our warehouse in mid-March. Be watching for a special announcement email very soon in your inbox that will alert you that you can order your own copy (either softbound or digital).
If you want to get a taste now, go to our New Products page to access two FREE chapters of Love the Journey and sample the treat that is in store for you!
We are also making great headway into our new product called Tapestry Primer. This is our new "on ramp" to the Tapestry highway for new homeschooling families teaching K-5 to 1st graders. Samples of Primer are available on our website, again at the New Products page!
We now have numerous Advisors that are active and ready and willing to assist Newcomers and Established Families in their homeschooling journeys! Check out our Advisor Directory to see if there is one near you!
Some of our Advisors are having introductory meetings in their area, so scroll through those listed for your state (and possibly states near you) to see if there are any events that you and your friends may be interested in attending. We would especially like to let you know about these first few:
Lampstand Learning Center will be opening registration for the 2014-2015 school year on March 10th for new students. Registration for current LLC students has already begun.
We have NEW RHETORIC ELECTIVES this year! Many of you have told us that you love doing history and/or literature discussions at home with your students, but you don't have time to also do the Government and Church History discussion. We have heard you and we are excited to offer Rhetoric Government and Rhetoric Church History courses. These one hour elective classes may be the perfect answer for your family this year.
Classes at the Lampstand Learning Center provide an intimate, dynamic learning environment for students from all over the world as they study together using the Tapestry of Grace curriculum.
A payment plan is available for any that need it. Click here for details.
If you have any questions please email Barb Spanier.
Recently, an automatic update to Google Chrome was released that made the browser unable to open links such as "Curriculum" or "Map Aids" under the week-plan in DE. For now, we suggest that you use a different internet browser to open your DE. Read here for specific details as to how to do this on your computer.
Below you'll find the dates and places of conferences where there will be Tapestry booths in 2014, as well as information regarding openings for lead Advisor hostesses and support hostesses. If you are interested in becoming a support hostess, you will need to complete the following application.
Remember to "like" Bookshelf Central on Facebook so you'll have access to the coupon codes for discounted items. There are several good ones that you might like to take advantage of during March, so stay tuned!
During March, Bookshelf Central will also be making RACpacks available. These book packages are especially designed for participants in the online classes through the Lampstand Learning Center.
We are continuing to put alumni and teacher stories on Marcia's blog throughout the spring. We encourage you to take a few minutes and read some of our newest entries for a time of refreshment and encouragement.
We've recently changed our phone menu with the goal of greater efficiency in serving you. Our ticket system is still available through our Help Center should you choose to post an inquiry that way. We look forward to serving you!
