Y3 R Lit Poetics How do we know what to read for each week?

The Reading Assignments for weeks 1-3 say things like "readings from Poetics" and week 1 mentions seeing the "reading chart at the beginning of each (poetics and frameworks).

We are doing Pride and Prejudice and have no idea what specifically we should be reading from Poetics!!

I'm sure it's obvious and I am just not seeing it!!

Go to the Loom section of the website. Click on "Year 3" and you will see the section for "Literature Helps". After clicking that you will see the link for "Rhetoric Literature Loom Reading Assignments." That should be the chart that you need for the assignments.

What you need is the "Rhetoric Literature Loom Reading Assignments Chart," which is under Literature Helps on the Loom. That will tell you which parts of Poetics and Frameworks to read for each week. I recommend that you print it off (it's about two or three pages) and put it in your student's school binder for literature so that he can refer to it each week. :-)

Thanks, but I can not find literature helps on the loom. Someone told me that I need a disc for the loom. Is that why I can't access it? I have the DE version of year 3 and didn't receive a disk when I received my copy of Writing Aids today. Is this something I need to buy extra? I didn't see it come up in the sotre. The loom that I can get onto via the link here doesn't have much at all -book updates, corrections, and links. The links section has a literature section but that just has links to Pride and Prejudice and book notes.

In your DE Interface, click any of the units to open a unit page and then click the Loom button at the bottom right. You'll find Poetics and Frameworks there.
