Idea for 'What the Bible is All About...'

The UG book, "What the Bible is All About for Young Explorers," is actually wonderful for LG! I bought it for my 2nd grade daughter, and we are using it like a coloring book. We sit down with some colored pencils and read and color. The drawings are all in black-and-white. It adds interest and color to the book. She loves doing it, and so do I!

Huh. I've been using it with my 1st grade dd also, but she hasn't been too interested. Maybe if I let her color in it, it'll perk things up a bit!

(I don't know if my ocd will allow her to color IN A BOOK though, gasp! LOL)
