Does dictation continue in Unit 2?

I'm using the writing assignments for Yr 2 (Levels 4 and 6). I noticed that dictation is assigned weekly thoughout unit 1, but no longer is assigned in Unit 2. Is the intent to discontinue dictation as we get into more extensive writing, or do we continue the same rate of dictation throughout the year?

Hi Louise,
The intent is to only occasionally do dictation after the first unit. Yes, the writing is more intense, and thus the students are putting into place what they've learned in previous grammar and composition studies.
