Lapbook question

I just printed out everything for unit 1 and I am unsure what the "Amazing Fact" booklets are for. They are not addressed in the instructions at all. Are the kids supposed to pick one amazing fact from their studies to include here?

That is what we do with the Amazing Facts. My girls love taking the time to come up with a strange or little known fact from their studies during the week.
