I am trying to incorporate Canadian content into the Dialectic Year 4 curriculum. I have already used the video series Canada a Peoples History and The Story of Canada in my first pass through this material. I am finding it difficult to find appropriate books in between the Grade 4/5 level and the Pierre Burton tomes, which are far too bulky. I also do not have access to a decent library, so they would need to be books currently in print. Does anyone have any suggestions?
