Marcia,
I got an email notice saying that you had responded to this thread (and I can read the first part of what you said) but when I came here to the board I don't see your post??
I've been looking for this document also with no luck. I have print only, not DE. Help??! I emailed Lampstand but I imagine I won't hear anything until Monday.
Yes, what Monica said is true. If you purchased your Year plan used, you will have to call lampstand and have them update your account that you own Year 1 before you will be able to view the book...
See my other response to this on your other thread, but why can't you just use the books that go with your print edition? Also, I'm a bit confused on how you planned on starting tomorrow if you...
Do you have the books that go with your print edition? If so, I don't think it's necessary to purchase new ones. I have a first edition Year 1, and I don't plan on purchasing new books every time...
I would love to get a list of blogs of homeschooling Moms who use TOG. If you blog about your TOG journey and don't mind sharing, please list your blog below. Thanks!
Thank you Sharon. This is exactly the kind of opinion I needed to hear, from a Mom who has been there and done that!
Interesting......just curious, if you could start with a child in 1st grade, which Year would you start with? I have been assuming I should start with Year 1 (ancients) but I've recently been...
So sorry you haven't received any more replies. This board is painfully slow. (I think it's because there are TOO many choices of places to post....people get confused). Anyway, you might post...
Was there any warning about this book in the TOG teacher notes? Does TOG list warnings about books that have mature content, or avoid if children are sensitive, etc.?
Thanks Pat. You've given me the same advice as Janice in NJ, which is to read the literature and not the history assignments, so I guess in the mouth of two witnesses, lol! That's where I'm going...
Let me add that my will be 1st grader is my OLDEST.....I have three girls, all roughly 2 years apart. (My youngest is 21 months) So I do have my hands full with managing three kids ages 5 and under...
I'd like to discuss the subject of using TOG for the purpose of self education. I will be starting TOG Year 1 in a few months with my then 1st grader and I'd like to take advantage of the time I...
Hi there,
I'm no TOG expert as I'm just starting out, but maybe I can help you a little bit until someone more experienced comes along!
TOG is not open and go. It can be, if you've done your...
I guess I'd like to know if I should start in D or is it better to go through the R level twice (since starting now I would be able to do that)
As for reading versus doing the work, I'd like to do...
I will be starting TOG Year 1 in a few months with my LG 1st grader, and I'm considering purchasing some books for myself to self educate. I'm just curious......should I start with the Dialectic...
I know that year 1 is Creation through 1200 B.C.
What about the other year plans? It would seem this information would be readily available on the Tapestry website......perhaps I'm overlooking it?
I found this book on my search for go-along books to use during our Biblical Ancients study in Year 1. "The Littlest Frog" by Sylvia Rouss is an adorable book that's about the plague of frogs and...
Awesome......I had overlooked that somehow. Thanks!
Just bumping this up to see if anyone has made a schedule for using CHOW with TOG Year 1 redesign? If so, I'd love to see it. Thanks!
I wasn't sure since Christy didn't say for ANYONE to contact her, but rather one particular person, but I just emailed Tapestry about it, so we'll see what happens.
I tried and tried to do what you said Pattie but could not get it to work for me. If you wouldn't mind emailing it to me I would greatly appreciate it. jewel7123@yahoo.com. Thanks!
Oh yes, I've been there......I was curious if they were still working on it or is it complete now.
Just wondering if the current resource lists that are up for Y4 are finished now, or are they still being completed? Thanks.
There is an alternate list now, but it's only 4 books. Will this be expanded soon or are 4 books going to be the only alternate choices for Year 4?
