Why can't I open more than three doc.'s?

When I already have three different doc.'s open with LockLizard and I try to open another one I get an error message telling me that I have to close one of the other doc.'s before I can open another one. Is there any way around this?

LockLizard told me that it takes a lot of memory for the software to open more than three protected documents at a time, so they set a limit at three. There is no way around this.
