Thread: Help! Story of the middle ages-Harding

  1. #1
Help!!! I just realized that my copy of Hardings' Story of the Middle Ages does not match up with the page numbers in the curriculum reading assignments for each week. What do I do?
Thank you for any help you can offer.

TOG's version's publisher has the table of contents online:

    http://www.yesterdaysclassics....g_middle_preview.pdf

That should help you line up yours with theirs.

This is perfect! I was also wondering about this. Glad I found your post. Thank you!

I tried that website, but it still doesn't line up. There are only 60 pages in the TOG version according to that PDF, but the reading assignment shows over 100 pages. What am I missing?

Our newer edition (2008) has all the pictures removed, has much smaller type and more words crammed on each page. It is awful! I'm so disappointed. I think I'll just try to find one of the nicer editions with the pictures at a used sale sometime. Anyway, that's why our book is fewer pages.

Thank you so much for the link to the table of contents! I also have an edition that doesn't match up (and am so disappointed with it, now that I see the other version, which has pictures!), and I was having an awful time trying to work out which pages to assign.
