Hi! I will be teaching Yr1 Lit in a co-op next year. Just wondering if anyone had any interesting ways to learn/discuss the Vocab from the Lit readings? I'm thinking games, activities, etc...not just discussion.

    Thanks!

    Hi Michelle,
We often played card games with vocabulary words for various subjects: Concentration, Go Fish, and Old Maid. As far as hands-on activities, we did lap-books or paragraph writing (in which they had to use "x" number of vocabulary words in a paragraph).

Hope this gives you a few ideas. Maybe someone else will chime in with some other ideas.
