We don't have a firm start date or meeting day, but we're leaning towards starting in early Aug and beginning with Lit discussion only, as a way to ease into this.

Hi - just reading about the virtual co-op idea and thinking it may be good for my Rhetoric level son. We have not done much communicating through cyberspace, aside from email, so this sort of thing would be new to us. . . .not sure if I understand how it will work, but would like to learn more. We will be starting Y2 Redesigned in Sept. 07, or last wk of Aug. at the earliest. My son will be out of town most of Aug., so if we joined the co-op, we'd probably need to do some catch-up first.

We have formed a yahoo group to continue this discussion off of the forum. If you are at all interested in being a part of a virtual co-op for 2007/2008 (using Y2), please consider joining our yahoo group to hammer out the details with us. There is no obligation to commit to the co-op just because you have joined the yahoo group. We just need to make a plan, and it seems expedient to do so via a yahoo group.

Hello ladies!...and a special hello to LISA in WA who is my TOG inspiration to check out the possibilities of an online co-op. (THANKS, Lisa!!)
I am using TOG year 2 classic for my D/UG son (age 12) and UG daughters (ages 8 & 9).....
Not sure if I can fit in with the others since you said you are using Redesigned....but maybe there are others out there...
