Locally, we have a non paid teacher co-op that offers a variety of subjects throughout the afternoon. I am considering doing the Ancients next fall. Has anyone had any experience in this type of co-op? I was thinking of assigning writing and literature reading outside of class and reading and discussing core inside the hour time frame along with group projects. Again, most of the children will not be TOG users. Thanks.

Hi! Here is a link to our page on licensing information, which should guide you in the right direction. Please feel free to ask if you have further questions.

Could you specify what age group you'll be teaching? We are in that type of co-op, and I could give you some broad suggestions and ideas, but it depends on the age-level.

P.S. Juli, I haven't used TOG in the co-op so no licensing issues with me yet--but thanks for the reminder!

The children will be either lower grammar or upper grammar. I haven't decided which age I would prefer to teach. The co-op lasts 10 weeks in fall and spring. Any words of wisdom would be appreciated. Did you do a history class or something else?

    Thanks.
