I know there are issues with pagination and Abraham Lincoln's World. I have found charts on the TOG Y 3 Yahoo group, but they list the same assignment the yellow pages list for week 19.

I evidently have a pre 2001 version of the Beautiful Feet Edition of the book. How do I translate the assignment to my book?

Does anyone have the section titles from the book (2001 or current book) so I can locate the correct pages?

CBD has the table of contents on their website. Can you use that to straighten things out?

Maybe you are mistaking the original copyright date of 1944. Our copy is the expanded edition, edition copyright 2001, but it says copyright 1944 also. The page numbers match the TOG assignment pages as well as the CBD table of contents. HTH,

I actually I was mistaken, but I went back and looked and my copyright is 1972, reprint from 1944.

I have the 1972 version also; I am just writing the corresponding page numbers in the book below the printed page numbers. Some sections are not exactly in the same order, and I THINK we are missing a couple of small sections completely, but I'm not going to worry about those. (sigh)

So, where can we go to find the correct pages that are to be read?

When you use editions other than those we list in TOG assignment sheets, what you need to do is look at the table of contents and then look at the week-plan subjects (for this book, using the "People" for Dialectics on page 6 of Redesigned week-plans is very helpful.

Generally, many people find, too, that the entire edition is sort of "offset" from the TOG page numbers. Look for a pattern. For instance, perhaps a few pages have been added to a chapter in the middle of the book, offsetting all TOG assignments with your book by 4 pages, starting at page 137 (just a fictional example). If so, add 4 pages to TOG ones, look them up to make sure, and then adjust your RACs for your edition.

    Hope this helps!
    Blessings,

My children and I always find it so difficult to jump in to Foster books "in media res" because she is so often referring to the adjacent stories, and assuming you know who and what she's talking about.

Did I miss something, or is the Week 3 reading assignment in A.L.'s World the first assignment in this book?
