New Pages Problem

Hi. I am using Safari and cannot download new pages for a replacement book. I tried to follow the Mac User instructions on the Book Updates page, but when I click the link while holding down the command key, it puts the file in my "downloads" but doesn't offer me an option to save??? Can you help???

Are you able to open it from the Downloads folder? If not, what happens when you try?
