My kids read Tales of King Arthur. My ds was confused about how Arthur died because if he had Excalibar he couldn't be killed. But he was killed after the last great battle. Did he die because he didn't have Excalibar with him? It seems unlikely that a warrior-leader wouldn't have his weapon. It seems incongruent that he would be killed when Excalibar was supposed to keep him alive.
What am I missing?
