DD is trying to do geography assignment for Week 10 dialectic. We are having trouble finding the items that she is to put on the outline map. After three atlases and internet searching, I printed the teacher's map (as a last resort), but it doesn't match the assignment. Many of the labels are missing and/or are labeled differently than on the list given in the student activities. I'm at a loss as what to do now.

Well, a little is up to you. I admit I find geography tedious and especially regional distinctions like I see int week 10 of Year 3 D map. So I'd probably move on.

However a search of Texas geography did produce some good results. Wikipedia has a bunch of separate pages on rivers, areas, etc.

    I also found this: http://www.mapsofworld.com/usa...land-and-people.html

Which led to more maps that might help:

This might help when used in combination with verbal descriptions of the regional areas:

    Hi Renda,
Pat gave you some good links that you can use; I'd suggest you just use those and have your student label about ten places of her choice. She can also observe the different climate regions in Texas.

Thanks for pointing out this error! So sorry that it got by out proofing process, but at least we know now and can get it corrected.

    Blessings,
