We will be starting Y2 at the Rhetoric level this year. I am trying to determine the best way to give credit for our English program. We will be using ABeka grammar, which incorporates writing short papers and a literature project; doing ToG Literature and it's assignments; and possibly ToG writing. My daughter is not the best writer, and I don't want to burden her with too much writing. Does anyone have suggestions/ thoughts on using ToG writing aids and ABeka?

Also, I could use some advice on how to give English credit for her transcript?

How you give an English credit depends on which grade level the student is in.

Ninth graders need to focus on grammar, literature, and composition, with a weekly vocabulary review.
10th-11th graders pretty well should balance literature and composition.
12th graders need to do a heavy focus on composition.

Hope this helps some! We are in the process of making some new Loom documents that will give detailed instructions on this type of thing.

"Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew,
like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants.
I will proclaim the name of the Lord. Oh, praise the greatness of our God!"
