first week books and summer reading

I'm new to TOG -- just ordered Year 2 Redesigned. Can I access the reading assignment charts before my order arrives? I'm eager to know which books I need to have in the house for Week 1 of the first unit. I have four daughters, one in each level.

Also, I've seen some of you mention summer reading lists. Should we take the time to do the summer reading before we begin our school year, or can we successfully jump in with Week 1?
