I had an UG and LG this year and we did school in 4 days. We didn't always do an activity/craft every week though.

That said, we also chose to only do three units a year. We homeschool 3 months on, one month off year round so it just fit in better. It was nice to have a few weeks at the end of each three month period to play catch up in any our other subjects as needed. I plan to do this until my oldest hits 9th grade and then we'll probably pick up the pace.
