Thread: Unit 4 exam or Cumulative Final?

    I don't know which is better to assign. The unit 4 exam or the year end cumulative final. The few comments I have found indicate not to give both, but which is better? If I give the unit four exam she'll miss out on learning how to study for a cumulative final. If I give the cumulative exam, she'll possibly miss out on the details of the unit four exam. Please advise. :-) I have a ninth grade rhetoric level daughter. This is our first year with TOG and we started with year 3 in your curriculum.

    Hi,
    Since it is her first year in rhetoric level, I'd suggest just giving the Unit 4 exam. She still has 3 more years to practice taking the cumulative ones.
