I recently have not been able to access the Evaluations section that is available on the topics bar. It comes up as '404 error not found'. The same thing comes up when I try to access many of the documents in the Writing Aids (I did purchase these). Is this due to work being done on the website? Angie

    Hey there...

You are trying to access outdated pages.

That Evalutations page has been taken down because we have now produced current Evaluations the work with the products we now have in print. To leave them up would have confused most people.

Writing Aids is similar: now that it is in print, we have (as we said we would for months at a time) taken down the old interface. There is a new, sample work only, Writing Aids interface that if free to all. It's located here: http://www.lampstandpress.com/writingaids

I'm not sure I understand. Are the freebie evaluations a thing of the past? Do I need to purchase Evaluations in order to have assesment materials? Also, I ordered Writing Aids, but don't have anything 'in print'. I understood that it was still an eproduct. I don't get to read your website often so if you've already explained this a thousand times, I apologize. Angie

    Hi Angie,
Yes, you'll need to purchase the Evaluations CD if you want assessment materials for your students. We took down the free section because it wasn't specifically geared toward Tapestry, but was just links that a person could mine from. We found that it was causing confusion and thus wanted to spare users that problem.

    Hi Angie!

You ordered the $25, beta version of Writing Aids, which (see Marcia's post above) was available only until the hard copy was released. If you would like to purchase the full, hard copy Writing Aids, you would be elligible for 25% off. I will email you the code to take advantage of that offer.

    Hi -
I am just finding this out myself regarding the evaluations.
If I understand correctly, I can no longer use the Y2 evaluations that I paid $25 for with the understanding that they were good for the whole year??
I got to use them once -- that's one expensive unit test!!
What are my options now? We have just finished unit 2.
    thanks,
    Donna

Opps! -- Sorry, it's me again -- the problem with accessing my paid for evaluations was with ME!
I had forgotten how to access them and mistakenly went to the evaluations tool bar-- I just went to the e-products page and saw the evaluations access button --- my bad.
Sorry for being testy (no pun intended)
    Donna
