May I pose a question? Our co-op is trying to determine an effective way to assess student participation and preparedness in the class. When students consistently aren't prepared or don't attend regularly, it affects classes. We meet once a week from 9-2 and offer classes for pre-K to 12th grade in history, lit, science, and writing.
Last term we used Student Assessment Sheets which included attendance, participation, AQ/TQ's completed or not, and any behavior issues. The teacher's assistant simply checked boxes.
Anyone else have any suggestions or thoughts-good or bad?

Thanks in advance,
