Easy Grammar

I am new to TOG and just wondering if I should use Easy Grammar for my 2nd grader.

I really like Easy Grammar, but if you are starting TOG mid year, I'd pick up Easy Grammar next fall.

What I did was start the "2" book with my 3rd grader. He had not had much formal grammar and I noticed the Easy Grammar series does not go all the way through so I figured getting off on an easier footing would be a good idea. I worked well.

I am using EG w/ my children along w/ TOG yr 1,and it has worked well.
