Does anyone use another history besides TOG for high school? I posted earlier that my oldest just isn't engaged with history and literature and I'm thinking of using online courses for high school for him although I wish I could continue TOG with him.

My oldest is the only child approaching high school (next year). For him I will not use anything other than Tapestry. Taperstry is way more than anything else I've seen out there.
BUT my youngest, I may have to use something easier and less big for him. He is much more interested in science and math than either history or literature. While I'd like to change that, I am also realistic about it. So I may decide to use a more minimalist approach using a text book with him so that we can spend more time on the subjects he loves.
I think one question I ask and probably you should as well is: Is this child just not a history and literature person OR are they just unwilling to make effort on all their school work or school work they find more difficult? It is an ongoing struggle for me not to reward my younger's lack effort while respecting that God made him different from his brother. The line is not always clear.
