In week 13, level R, grade 11, the students are assigned an "Essay of Opposing Ideas". My student is having difficulty distinguishing this from a "compare contrast" type essay, so I"m looking for a sample. There isn't one in the Writing Aids samples that I can see, and I haven't found one anywhere else.
Does anybody know of one posted somewhere, or have one they can share as an example?
One of the reasons she's having such difficulty is that she is not arguing in favor of one or the other (ie, it is not a "moral issue" but one that really does have valid views on either side).
