    Hello,
I have just about decided to switch to TOG from VP. My oldest is almost 10 and will be 5th gradish next year. I will be starting my 6yodd in 1st grade as well. I also have a 4yds, 3ydd, 9mos dd and am expecting in late November. I am really feeling the need to streamline! Sooooo here I am, checking it all out. I did get the brochure in the mail and have been studying that as well. We just started the Reformation this week. If I start TOG I am thinking of starting with Year 2 redesign Unit 3. My plan is to start that in May then school steadily until the baby with taking a week off after each unit. I used to plan a lot of hands-on activities but have really been leaving that off. I hope that TOG will help 'remind' me to add in the extra activities.
I look forward to learning more!

    Hi Wendy,

Welcome. You really have your hands full.

We are currently finishing up with Sonlight 3+4. We plan to start TOG Year 1 Redesigned in July. I only have one DD left at home. She is 10 and will be in the 5th grade.

We are also Middle TN. We live south of Nashville.

Hope you have a Blessed Year,
    Evette

    Hi Wendy,

If you decide to do Year 1, maybe we could get together for some projects. There are soooo many choices. It looks like a lot of fun.

Hi Evette, sorry I am just now responding. I have gotten a green light from dh for TOG!! We will be starting with Year 2 Unit 2 as we are just now finishing up the Middle Ages here. It would be nice to do some activities together if we were in the same year . . .if you want to email me maybe we can figure out how close we are in TN.

    Hi Wendy,

I sure know what you mean by busy, and I only have one at home!

It's wonderful that your DH has given you the go ahead. I love the way TOG includes our husbands in everything.

We will be starting Year 1 in July. This will work out well for us because then we can do each year twice. I love what I have seen so far. I think TOG is going to work our very well for us.

If you still want to get together sometime even though we are doing different years, just let me know.

God bless you as you start your new journey.

    Evette
