LAMPSTAND LEARNING CENTER ONLINE CLASSES ARE OPEN FOR 2011 - 2012 REGISTRATION

It has been wonderful to be able to count on and trust the LLC this year to
partner with me in our homeschool. ~SB

It has been an answer to prayer for my 15 year old! ~CL

I am very pleased that the LCC seems very organized and well managed. My
daughter's interest at the rhetoric level has blossomed as I had always hoped
it would as she progresses through the teen years. My interest is in math and
science, and I have found that teaching literature is not my strong suit! I am so
thankful that you have filled my family's need has for a rigorous, thoughtful,
and thorough Christian approach to teaching the great literary classics. ~TC

We have had a successful first year of online classes here at the Lampstand Learning Center and are happy to announce that registration is open for the 2011 - 2012 school year. After adding new classes and hiring new teachers we are now able to offer history and literature discussion classes for both dialectic and rhetoric students, as well as rhetoric writing classes.

History and Literature courses follow the Tapestry of Grace curriculum, offering Socratic discussions lead by experienced Tapestry teachers. Our commitment to Socratic discussion has led us to limit our discussion courses to the maximum of 10 students, giving plenty of opportunity for all students to be actively involved each week.

If you are looking to supplement your Tapestry studies with dynamic online discussions, the classes offered at the Lampstand Learning Center may be a perfect fit for your student for the coming school year.
