My ds will be graduating early, and doesn't need any more history credits, but we've decided to have him read all of "The Idiot's Guide" and about 1/3 of the TOG literature selections.
Does anyone (DANA???) have practical ideas as to how we can evaluate whether he is doing his work? The SAPs won't do it because they cover so much, and I don't see how we can have meaningful discussions with him when he's only doing the history piece. He's doing the year in 16 weeks.
Maybe I'm missing something? He just needs a good 20th century overview. He's also taking four college classes, Geometry, English, French, and Forensic Science.
Ideas?
Thanks!
