    Looking for some advice

We're borrowing Gettysburg from our local library, but won't have time to preview the whole thing. We'd like our 14yo dd to see it, and maybe our 10 yo son. They're not big on movie violence - any advice on spots to fast forward.

    It's on VHS. . . sigh. . . . .

    Thanks for any help!

    Heather,
I'm probably too late for this, but we watched this movie about a week ago and thought it was excellent. Our kids are 15, 13, and 7, and they all watched it. For all the battle scenes, it is not very bad. There was more blood in one post-battle scene with an injury someone sustained, but it was simply appropriate for the scene. It was a very well done movie in our opinion. What did your family think?
