Universe Next Door...

We will be using Year 4 next year and I have a Rhetoric student. My understanding is that the bulk of this book is assigned in Year 4 but parts have been assigned as summer reading and during the year in other Years. I would like my daughter to read those portions before we begin the year. Can someone tell me which parts of the book have been assigned before Year 4?
