While there is a study of historical economic conditions. I don't believe you could count your R level student's work in Tapestry as a true economics course unless you added a text that covers the subject more thoroughly.
I agree... though, adding in an Economics textbook and dividing it up historically, if the layout allows, would enable you to dovetail it with historical studies as with the rest of your Humanities studies.
