Rhetoric Year 3 Student: Question about a book and government

    Hi,
We're just starting out TOG with my 2nd child who is going into 11th grade. She has already had govt and economics and does not need that for a credit. I do want her to do some of the readings for govt in the year 3 schedule, so she will understand the significance of the document in that time of history. She already has a good original source document book to refer to and we have the Imperialism book and the Gilded documents book. Does she need the govt download? Secondly, I have spent so much money and have gotten almost every book needed for year 3. The only one I cannot find used is 'Antebellum America'. Is there a substitute for that, or am I crazy not to just buy it. Thanks in advance,

The government disc will have original source documents. If you want to save costs, you can probably find all that online. BUT Tapestry will only have exactly what portion and section of an original document they want your student to read. So it is possible that for long source documents, you'll have to muddle a bit and try to figure out what to have them read.

On the Antebellum book, have you checked at Bookshelf Central? I just looked and it appears they have it in stock.
