Has anyone used Western Civilization by Jackson J. Spielvogel (6th edition)? Were you happy and where did you find it.

There a lot of copies at Amazon, look at used for the best prices. You just need to make sure you get the 6th edition.

I have used this text, and believe that it is among the best out there! Do look for the 6th edition if you want to easily follow what is published in TOG, but if you get a later edition, you can do what we did to develop our chosen page numbers: simply look at what's being covered in TOG week to week, and find corresponding sections of the text book and assign those to your student.

Amy, I don't but when I checked at Amazon, they had the editions labeled. You might have to click through from the search page to each book, but on the individual book page it lists the edition.
