    "Story Analysis" Week 3

In Week 3 students are suppose to read a Loom doc called "Story Analysis." I have searched and searched and I can't find anything with this title in the Poetics or Frameworks. Can anyone help me? I need this for next week!

I have the old style physical Loom so I won't be able to give step by step directions, but let me see if I can get you to the right area.

On the Loom for Year 2, I have a ling to a page called "Literature Helps." On that page there is a section called "Analyses." The Story Analysis is under that section.

I cannot find this either. I have a Loom cd, and I am looking now. I have a heading that says "Literature Helps," but no subheading called "Analyses." I have looked through the Poetics table of contents repeatedly, and I cannot find a section exclusively devoted to "Story Analysis" or "Poetry Analysis." We are starting TOG with Year 2 Unit 3, and these sections are assigned as catch-up readings during the first two weeks of school.

    Thanks for any help!

Which version are you using? I can't find anything requiring a document called "Story Analysis" in week 3. Can you tell me which page, which level, etc. it's asking for it? We just did week 3, and now I'm worried I've forgotten something important!!

I have a print version 2007 with new replacement Loom cd. The catch-up readings for those new to TOG (Rhetoric level) are listed in the Unit 3 Introduction about Rhetoric Literature.

It seems like the Poetics has been reorganized since 2007....?

    Thanks!

I do have a new Evaluations cd that I just ordered from TOG. In the review guides for lit exams there are references to "Appendix A of Drama Analysis," for example. I cannot find "Story Analysis," "Drama Analysis," or "Poetry Analysis" documents on the Loom. ...

    Hi ladies,
Yes, Poetics has been rearranged since Year 2 2007 was released. I think you'll now find that section under II. A. Appealing to the Imagination: Story, Poem, and Play: Stories. In my DE, it begins on p. 18.

So, Dana, what she's looking for in the 2007 version for week 3 is now part of the readings for week 1? (my version has Poetics part II being read in week 1.) Maybe I should have us re-read that section.... (week 1 was pretty heavy reading-wise for us, I doubt we remember it all... hmmmm.....)

Thank you! I guess all the other details like character, setting, etc. are covered in different weeks. Whew! Yay! Thanks!
