Question about old copy of Year 3

Several months ago, we finished up Year 2 DE. Due to finances, we could not purchase Year 3 DE. Recently, a friend had an old copy of Year 3 that she did not need. It is from 2002. She ended up purchasing the DE.

How "off" will we be using this Year 3 and then hopefully transitioning to Year 4 DE? Any major content changes that will cause gaps?

    Thanks!

    Hi Sharon,
In terms of content, both Classic and Redesigned Year 3 both cover the 1800s. The biggest adjustment you'll have is that Classic is not formatted in exactly the same way that Redesigned is. The book choices on the Reading Assignment Charts are also quite different in layout. But, the answer is "yes," it can be done, but you will probably look forward to getting back into Redesigned and DE for Year 4.

    Blessings,
