    Rhetoric resource Universe Next Door

We haven't been assigned this book yet and as far as I can tell, it is not assigned in unit 1 or 2. I haven't checked the other units yet. We are doing our Unit 1 final exam today and there are questions from this book on the test. Can someone tell me where we've missed this book?

    Tresta,

The Universe Next Door by James Sire is a book that is assigned for Worldview in multiple years. In Year 1 and Year 2 it is specifically used as a reference for topics discussed in the Worldview sections of the curriculum. There are no specific reading assignments until you get into Year 3 and Year 4. The book is used in the footnotes and page numbers are referenced for you to look these sections up within the book and read for yourself if you so choose. There are no questions on this book in the Unit 1 Exam in the Rhetoric Evaluations.

I am wondering... since you posted on the Literature forum if you may be referring to the book Words of Delight by Leland Ryken? This is the book that the Unit 1 Literature Exam for Rhetoric is based upon. It is read in Weeks 7-9 of Unit 1 and is in the Literature section of your Reading Assignment Chart. You may have just gotten the names confused. If you have further question please let me know and I will be more than happy to find the answers for you.
