New to TOG - how to use Map Aids?

We have just purchased and began using Year 2, Unit 4 as a test run for next year.

I am in week 28. I am trying to learn how to use Map Aids. I see that I can print out maps and do the transparency project (and I may do that soon). My question is: the teacher notes say to go over geography locations with my upper grammar student. I see the maps for this week, but where do I find the locations? Do I need to research online ahead of time to find specific locations? Thanks.

There is a student map and a teachers map. The teacher's maps have the locations for the week. Does that help?

On second thought, have you read the teachers notes p. 50?

    Hi,
Also, just to confirm to you: the locations to find are in each learning level of the blue-bordered Student Activity Pages. The Teacher's Notes just often give other details that you won't find on the answer map found in Map Aids.

like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants.
I will proclaim the name of the Lord. Oh, praise the greatness of our God!"
