Thread: Struggling with Week 4 concepts.

  1. #1
I am not familiar with the spreading of Noah's sons. When? Where? Why? And plate tectonics, during or after the flood? My son is 6 and will not question what I tell him but I am not ready to accept the data presented in TOG for this week without questioning it.

Could someone lead me to an adult level site or book that explains where these thoughts come from? Should I just skip geography for the week?

    Hi Kylie,
Have you checked out any of the links on the TOG web page? There is an interesting map under "Noah's Descendants" on the Geography page, as well as one that says to scroll down a bit to see where "the sons of Noah settled." http://www.tapestryofgrace.com/year1/index.php Also, here is a link to someone's research that might prove interesting: http://gracethrufaith.com/ikvo...he-table-of-nations/. You can also do a search and find lots of helpful websites.

However, for your 6 year old, it should suffice to say that after the ark landed, Noah and his sons moved to different places around the earth. If you'd like to mention that we don't know exactly how the earth looked then, that's fine. Other than that, I wouldn't stress it because he has lots more opportunities to get this material.

    Blessings,

This link is too advanced for a 6-year old, but should help your understanding.
