    Portions of the page disappear

I'm having trouble with reading my copy of Y4. After I go thorough some pages, a white bar starts to appear at the top of the window, and it grows and grows, till there's nothing left in the window... sometimes, the white bar will hop to the bottom of the window and grow up... and where and when it begins varies upon what size I have my LL window (that's one of the reasons we're using DE, so I can make the print as big as I need to see it easily). I'm using a brand-new computer (so this should be unrelated to the "missing parts" issue I had before), I'm using OS X 10.9.3, and LL says it's fully updated. I'll try to include a screen shot of the partial bar. Please tell me that there's an easy way to fix this!!!

    Hello Kimberly!

This is a rare problem we've seen on Macs and has to do with the "Continuous" viewing modes of the viewer. To work around it when you're looking at a document like this, go to the View menu at the top and choose either the "Single Page" or "Two Pages" mode. In these modes, the pages will seem to "stick" at the end of each page, but it will allow you to view everything in the document. I hope this helps!

Well, that work-around seems to help ... is this a problem that they'll be fixing soon (I hope)?

I realize that "scroll to the bottom of the page, click 'Next Page,' scroll to the top of the new page, repeat" is not the most awful/complicated thing in the world, but when you're paying for quality, you kind of have expectations.... (first world problems, I know...)

    Thanks!!

You're welcome, Kimberly! In answer to your question, I reported this problem to LockLizard when we first discovered it last year, however they were unable to replicate it on their end at that time and so could not attempt a fix. I will send them another email to check if they've been able to replicate and if so when a possible fix would be available.

Kimberly, I've gotten a reply back from LockLizard. They have not found a fix for this yet, but said they are looking for one. They also recommended a different workaround that you may prefer. You can switch the view mode back to continuous, but change the zoom level to 100%. I actually tried the other preset zoom levels here (125%, 150%, etc.) and they seemed to work as well.
