    Question about purchasing used

There is no way I will be able to do TOG this year unless I purchase used. I have been looking at e-bay auctions and various other places for Year 1. How can I be sure I am getting a legal print copy? I am assuming it would be easy to print from the digital copy with a high quality printer and fool people like me who wouldn't otherwise know the difference. Also if I find a legal print without the Loom CDRom, can it be purchased separately?

    Thanks!

I cannot really answer about whether or not it is a legal copy, I'm not sure. However with regards to the Loom cd, I just spoke with someone earlier this week since I had purchased a used TOG and have somehow misplaced the Loom cd :-/
I was told if it is purchased through a third party they cannot sell the Loom cd by itself. If you purchase a used curriculum make sure you get the Loom cd with it! Hth!

Yes, that helps. I understand that Loom is important so I'm going to make sure whomever I buy from has it. I have straight forward asked 2 people on e-bay auctions if they are legal print/copy. One suggested I look at other auctions since I need loom but didn't reply to my question . The other was un-offended and graciously answered all of my questions. I would rather pay more and know I have a legal copy than save money and not know for sure. I guess if they have loom, I know for sure it's legal. If they don't I have no real way of knowing if it's legal or no way of getting Loom. Thanks for your reply, everettrj.

    Paula,

A good way to know that you are buying a legal copy of a used Tapestry of Grace year-plan is to make sure it has The Loom CD included. If you don't buy directly from Lampstand Press, Ltd. you can not purchase a replacement for The Loom CD. We only sell this to our direct customers.

An illegal copy of Tapestry of Grace will have the copyright date and "NOT FOR RESALE" printed on every other page in the left margin of the year-plan. I would suggest you have the person you are thinking of purchasing a used year-plan from to send you a picture of the copyright date from each unit. Also ask them if it comes with The Loom CD. These are reliable indicators that you are purchasing a legal copy.

I hope this information helps! Have a great day!
