Thread: wk 19, LG and UG answer discrepancy

  1. #1
I printed up all the evaluations for coming schoolyear today. I'm typing up the oral quizzes as worksheets to be filled out as they read. Anyway, week 19, question #9 asks how many islands make up Japan. Lower grammar answer says "4,000" while Upper grammar answer says "1,000". Just thought that might be something to correct.

    Thanks!

Thank you so much for this note; we will look into it! I suspect that the difference is due to the different resources. I have seen varying reports about the number of Japan's islands, with numbers from 3,000 to almost 7,000--probably due to the fact that so many of these islands are so small (and some sources may not count islands under a certain size), and perhaps also due to when the information was published. I hope to have a more definitive answer for you once we are able to recheck our resources.

    Blessings!
