History: Core and History: in depth

To answer the questions for each week in the guide, does the student need to read both the core and in-depth books? Can we skip the in depth and still answer all the questions?

    Hi,

To answer the student accountability and thinking questions each week you will need to read both the history core and in-depth selections. There are tips in the Unit Introductions as well on what the core and in-depth readings are focusing on. Some weeks the material in the readings will be on the same topic as your history core and some weeks they are on completely different topics during the same time period.

I hope this information helps. Please feel free to call me if you have any further questions.

Are Evaluations also based on core and in-depth? We have dropped the in-depth reading for this year of Rhetoric but I would still like to use the Evaluations.

Yes, the Evaluations are based upon both the core and in-depth readings.
