    Question Y2W26 R history - "!8th Century Europe: Tradition and Progress, 1715-1789"

I'm having a hard time figuring out the reading assignments for this book this week. My book says "Second Edition" copyright 2012. BC says the book has 364 pages, mine stops at 362.

The assignment pages don't seem to make sense. For example:

Page 9 is the beginning of the section on "State Power and Absolutist Monarchs." But it's not the whole section.

Pages 13-41: starts with a full-page chart ("Major Rulers of the Great Powers"), on p. 41 the only mention of the Seven Years' War is the middle of a sentence about military spending.

Pages 231-240: starts in the middle of a sentence about theaters, and ends at the end of the subsection on "Literacy, Religion, and Primary Education."

Pages 246-251 are in the section on "The Uses of Print: Diffusion and Resistance."

Do I have the wrong book?

(I honestly can't remember what we did 5 years ago when we last did Y2. But that's when I got the book, so we must have done something with it)

    Hi Kimberly,

It sounds like you have the newest book but not the most current assignments. If you will go to the the Year 2 Book Updates chart on our website you will find a reconciliation chart for both books. Hover over the word "Curriculum" in the Lampstand Press banner, click on "Book Updates" from the drop-down list, click on the year-plan, click on your copyright date, look for Multi-Unit books near the top of the chart and you will see a reconciliation chart for both the old and new book.

I hope this information was helpful. Please feel free to contact me if you need further assistance.
    God Bless,
