Thread: Where do I find Y3 R Reading Assn Chart ?

  1. #1
I just started Y3 and looking for the Poetics reading assignments. I follow the directions to find it on the Loom but I do not see it under Literature. Are the 'Literature Helps' something different? I'm very confused and wondering if it's right under my nose!
    Thanks! Kim

Under "Literature Helps" there should be a document called the "Rhetoric Literature Reading Assignments Chart" or something like that. It has all the Poetics and Frameworks reading assignments in it. Then Poetics and Frameworks are also there under Literature Helps. If you have DE, you can access all three documents from each week plan on the interface.

    Hope this helps!

Christy- I have the same question. I've been tooling around on DE for a bit, and can't see any files called "Literature Helps" anywhere. The only Literature links I can find are the Shorter Anthology, and the "button" that takes me to the online resources. Any insight?

Oh, and btw - your TTT on Teaching Literature was AWESOME!

    Hi Heather,
Click on the "curriculum" for the Unit Introduction. You should find the literature helps there.

Summer reading is in the same place on the Loom: Introductory documents.

    A-ha! Here was my dilemma:

It IS in the Curriculum section, under "Teaching Rhetoric Literature". . . . but it's buried way down in page 41-42, under "Lightening the Load". In the notes. . . .(ugh, somewhere! It's all a blur at this point!) it says to look under "Literature Helps" for a document called "Rhetoric Literature Reading Assignments Chart". I "think" the "Lightening the Load" has the same information. . . .

    Did I get that right?

    Hi,
Ah, I see the problem. I directed you to the wrong place. Click on "The Loom" in the bottom right corner (accessed from any unit). From there, you can scroll down to "Literature Helps" and then the "Rhetoric Literature Reading Assignments."

    Sorry I steered you incorrectly!

    Blessings,

A- HA!!! (Where's the lightbulb smilie?)

The Loom and a few other features do NOT work when I use Google Chrome to open.

    On Firefox -
    They're all there

    Thanks, Dana.
