3/17/2010 		Updated Glance. Upper Grammar section should read "The original Mary Poppins is truly different than the Disney version with which you and your children may be familiar. Mary Poppins is not 'practically perfect in every way' in the original book. If this is a concern, please skim or read ahead of your student."

Glance: "On p. 43 Siddhartha has a dream in which his friend Govinda (a monk) becomes a woman, and Siddhartha drinks milk from her breast, symbolizing his turn from self-denial to pursuit of earthly pleasures. The image is not per se sexual, but could be disturbing or distracting."

33 Letter I on the dialectic literature worksheet on page 19 incorrectly reads "John 20:14" when it ought to have read "1 John 1:7." The teacher's notes did not have the error.

Topic 10 of the dialectic discussion outline (page 47) suggested that President Clinton was impeached by the House but not impeached by the Senate. This has been corrected to explain that he was impeached by the House, and then tried but acquitted by the Senate.

34 The Dialectic Teacher's Notes (page 36) suggest that the National Security Agency was created by George W. Bush, which is incorrect. Under Topic 7, the bullet about the NSA should read: "One such agency, the NSA (National Security Agency) was given the authority to eavesdrop on suspected terrorists without the usually necessary court warrants."

36 In the dialectic discussion outline, the Jonestown massacre (p. 24) and the death of Princess Diana (p. 25) have both been moved from Domestic Issues to Foreign Affairs.
