Week 22 Charters, Creeds, and the English Civil War Many Feet Walking Forward Maryland, New York, Rhode Island, and Connecticut - the colonists were growing in numbers and diversity. Students at all levels will study the foundation of new colonies springing up across the eastern seaboard this week.  Maintaining their dual focus, older students will also study the English Civil War, and the resulting waves of diverse and opposing colonists which profoundly affected the course of colonial American history. As part of this week-plan, the older students will also extend their study of Puritan culture. These three week-plans don't come to a neat conclusion... it's just the beginning of the New World adventure, in which God's hand is so evident in the way he weaves the threads of Old World and New World history together in the tapestry called HIStory.
