Worldview

General

  • Great site on Kierkegaard! Contributed by Annie.
  • Another massive site: teacher's use, probably, initially, although you'll use it to find sites for your children. If they want to read the originals, here they are!
  • If you and your children enjoy praying for different countries of the world, you will enjoy linking up with this page on Worldwide Missions. It contains statistics that give a clear picture of the prayer needs of various countries. Our Year 3 Teacher's Notes encourage you to lead your children in prayer for all Hindus and Buddhists, and has three weeks devoted solely to the lives of famous missionaries. Teachers will enjoy reading summaries of their lives, and of many other, less prominent, missionaries. Included in these summaries are lists of books you can use as alternates to the ones I suggested. Use of this site removes the need to purchase Operation World.
  • Lizzy recommends the "Ism" online book for basic definitions that will help you in your worldview studies.
